Privacy notice
In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from third parties. The only exception is Echo, the AI assistant – and only if you open the chat and send a message.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger, UAB, Švitrigailos g. 34, LT-03230 Vilnius, Lithuania, which processes data on my behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
Each time a page is requested, the server automatically processes data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the requested address, the referring page, browser and operating system, status code and amount of data. This is necessary to deliver the website and to protect it against misuse and attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. Log data is deleted once it is no longer needed for these purposes.
3. Contact by email
If you write to me by email, I process your name, email address and message to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is answering your request. I delete your message once the matter is settled, unless statutory retention periods apply.
4. Echo, the AI assistant
Echo is an optional chat assistant that can arrange a meeting with me or pass on a message. Nothing is sent until you open the chat and send a message yourself.
- What is processed: the messages you write (including any name, email address or meeting details you give), a random conversation ID, and – as with every web request – your IP address.
- Where: your messages go to an automation server (n8n) that I run on a virtual server at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. To write an answer, the conversation is sent to an AI language model through OpenRouter, Inc. (USA), which forwards it to the provider of the model. This can mean that data is processed in the USA.
- Meetings and messages: if you ask Echo to book a meeting or to pass on a message, it uses my Google account (Google Calendar and Gmail; Google Ireland Limited, Dublin) to check my availability, create the invitation or send your message to me.
- In your browser: the conversation ID is kept in your browser’s session storage so the chat continues across pages; it is removed when you close the tab. This is strictly necessary for the chat you asked for (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for meeting requests and messages aimed at working together, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is offering a convenient way to get in touch.
Please don’t share sensitive information in the chat. If you prefer, simply send me an email instead.
5. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content
This website sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising or embedded third-party content such as fonts, maps or videos. All files are loaded from this website’s own server. Links to other sites (for example LinkedIn or Google Scholar) are ordinary links; those sites only receive data once you follow them.
6. Your rights
You have the right to
- access the data I hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- have data erased (Art. 17 GDPR) or its processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
Just write to contact@soltanzadeh.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example theState Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
7. No obligation
You don’t have to provide any data. Without the details in your email or chat message, however, I can’t answer you. There is no automated decision-making.
